Blackwood staff and residents recently took a trip to Bodmin Moor

Posted by cornwallcare on June 30, 2017

Lucky residents from Blackwood were recently taken by their carers and activities co-ordinator to see the animals on Bodmin Moor.

They enjoyed the trip by mini bus and connecting with nature, the wildlife walking around and breathing in the fresh air. A packed lunch was provided and great fun was had by all that attended.

Connecting with animals on any level can offer numerous advantages for both carers and the people in their care. Animals can help lower blood pressure and increase feelings of happiness in people of all ages. Cornwall Care strive to treat their clients as individuals and tailor their activities to suit each person.
