Headlands enjoy a trip to Paradise Park

Posted by cornwallcare on July 13, 2017

Recently our residents and staff from Headlands enjoyed an afternoon at Paradise Park in Hayle. The trip was organised through Oomph! and they kindly used their mini bus to transport the residents to and from the park.

Our residents thoroughly enjoyed their trip out. They loved feeding the sheep, goats and pigs and really enjoyed walking around looking at all the different birds with their various coloured plumages.

Lots of laughter was shared and fun was had by everybody, so much so they cannot wait for the next trip out with Oomph!

About Paradise Park

There are over 140 species of animal and over 650 birds to see. Daily events for winter include otter and penguin feeding times plus a few lucky people will be asked to help feed the penguins. No matter what the weather, HUGE fun can be had in the JungleBarn indoor play centre. Enjoy a stroll around the park, enjoy a delicious lunch or drink in the otter pool cafe and peruse our gift shop.
