St Patrick's Day at Woodland

Posted by cornwallcare on April 5, 2017

Our residents at Woodland, our care home in St Austell, had a lovely day celebrating St Patrick's Day on Friday 17th March last month.

To celebrate the Irish holiday, pints of Guinness, an Irish dry stout that originated in the brewery of Arthur Guinness in the capital city of Dublin, were offered to residents.

As you can see, the residents that took part in the celebrations very much enjoyed them!

It's important to us at Cornwall Care that we celebrate seasonal occasions and provide regular activities and events for the people who live with us. We believe that staying active is a vital element to a happy life and every day we endeavour to provide as much opportunity for our residents to have a good time as possible.
