To celebrate the special occasion that is Valentine's Day, staff at Trengrouse went all out, putting up lots of romantic themed decorations and providing a scrumptious three-course lunch for their residents to enjoy with their loved ones.
"The whole atmosphere of the home was buzzing. Families had the chance to join their loved ones for the three-course meal in our dining room and it was lovely to see so much love in our home. Happy tears were shed."
Kim Cass, Customer Relations Administrator at Trengrouse, Helston
Everyone complimented the meal; the choices were Soup of the Day or Fan of Melon for starters, Roast Topside of Beef or Mushroom Stroganoff for mains, and a Fresh Fruit Salad or Red Velvet Cake for dessert. There was also a sweet glass of Prosecco to enjoy and the meal was followed by coffee and mints to finish it all off.
The lunch was an incredible success. Our residents were full of thanks for the staff that prepared the gorgeous meal and decorated the home so well.
Cornwall Care is committed to providing lots of engaging and entertaining activities and events for our residents and this was a really special day for everyone involved.
