About Us

Cornwall Care was acquired in 2022 by Sanctuary Care, part of the not-for-profit organisation Sanctuary Group. Sanctuary Care has over 110 care homes across England and Scotland and is now the largest provider of care in Cornwall with 13 care homes across the county.  

At Sanctuary Care, we have been delivering care for over 25 years and at the heart of our experience and expertise is our passion to enrich the lives of our residents, teams and those living in the communities.

We are proud to be a not-for-profit care provider, reinvesting money back into our care homes so that we can provide an environment our residents are proud to call home. We also invest in our staff, ensuring our teams have the knowledge and skills to provide the very best person-centred care to our residents.

Our 13 care homes in Cornwall provide a range of care including residential, dementia, nursing, palliative and respite care.

Making the Right Decisions

We know it can be difficult to make decisions about care, so we’re here to help and support you – from finding the right home for you or your loved one, to offering advice and guidance with funding and paying for care.

Our Enquiry Support Team offer free, impartial care home advice, six days a week (Mon to Fri 8am to 8pm and Sat 9am to noon).
