Blackwood’s Anna is such a star!
Posted by admin on July 10,2019Anna Patino, our lovely, dedicated caretaker at Blackwood has been busy making some great things for our residents to enjoy.
Our residents have recently been out in the garden making flower crates so Anna felt it would be nice for them to enjoy a drink in the sun so she made (totally from scratch) this wonderful bar! It will be a fully functioning bar and will be rolled out at our upcoming summer fete on 27 July.
Anna has also hand-drawn and made these caricature-style stocks. Annette, our manager and our deputy Dawne have offered to put their heads inside the stocks. I wonder whether anyone will throw wet sponges at them! Why don’t you come along to our fair and find out. It looks like it will be a lot of fun.
Anna always goes the extra mile each and every day. She is so talented and creative and really enjoys making the residents happy and brightening up their day. Thank you Anna, you are such a star and your dedication is really appreciated.
