Sweeties at Blackwood House

Residents and staff at Blackwood House are so excited. They now have a sweet trolley and have named it Gilly Beans Sweet Emporium. What a great name!

The new sweet trolley has gone down a treat with everyone. It’s amazing how much people like sweeties. We have a selection of sweets such as marshmallows, love hearts, jelly beans and flying saucers as well.

One paper bag of sweets costs £1. You can have any selection you want and all money goes back into buying more sweets for the trolley. Any money left over goes into the residents’ amenities fund.

We think it’s a brilliant idea and perhaps it can be rolled out in our other homes in the future too.
