Christmas at Trevern

We had an eventful December at Trevern.

Among the 8 choir and carolling visits, a trip to Truro Cathedral, 3 Christmas parties and a trip to Penryn and Falmouth for their Christmas lights display (which ended with a fish and chips supper), we had great fun!

The power of music engaged, touched and moved most of our residents whether it was from a choir of 20 carollers (including Anne; our resident singer and honorary choir member) or visits from the choirs to our person-centred bedrooms for those unable to join in all of the festivities.

Throughout the month of December, we held a raffle which had incredibly generous prizes such as donations from staff and local businesses. Thanks to a great team effort, £402 was raised for the residents’ amenities fund at Trevern.

We would like to wish everyone a warm and Happy New Year.
