With two stands at the show, one for Recruitment and one in the Wadebridge Chamber of Commerce area, our team from Cornwall Care were there to meet and greet, answering questions about our care services and upcoming projects, as well as giving an insight into what it is like to work for our charity.
Residents from St Breock, our residential home in Wadebridge, came along to visit us. They attend the show every year; it is an important local occasion for them and for our residents who have grown up and lived in the Wadebridge area.
The wellies and umbrellas were out for most of the three days as the weather did its typical Cornish thing, showering rain and sunshine intermittently, but despite that our spirits were high and everyone involved had a wonderful time enjoying the show.
Our team at Cornwall Care would like to thank all the visitors who came along to speak with us; it was a brilliant opportunity to engage with the public and hear the thoughts about our upcoming care village development and current services.
This year Cornwall Care are celebrating our 21st year of being an independent Cornish charity. We have been enjoying various events with our staff and residents to celebrate the milestone and we look forward to even more events this year.
