Dignity in Care at Woodlands

On 1 February, Woodlands celebrated Dignity Action Day by creating a dignity tree.

This was created to help raise awareness of the Dignity in care campaign created by the National Dignity Council.

The theme this year at Woodlands was led by the question ‘What does dignity mean to you?’

As you can see from all the messages on the tree, plenty of staff and residents took part in this activity. They really enjoyed themselves and it was also a way of listening and supporting people to express their needs and wants.
