Easter eggs donation

Easter is going to be different for many of us this year but, thanks to the generosity of local food outlets, Easter eggs will still be on the menu for our hard-pressed staff.

Waitrose was the first supermarket to arrange a delivery of fifty eggs to our charity’s administrative offices in Threemilestone.

“The Easter eggs will be distributed throughout our organisation and are certain to cheer everyone up as they go about their vital business of looking after elderly and vulnerable people in exceptionally difficult circumstances,” said Fundraising Manager Jan Burns.

“Waitrose were really quick to get in touch, saying they wanted to show their gratitude to those working on the frontline with a selection of chocolate goodies that will hopefully cheer them up during these strange and challenging times.

Staff at Iceland Truro have also generously bought 80 chocolate items which are being sent to Redannick and Mountford homes in Truro and Marks & Spencer in Hayle has donated cake to Blackwood.

“I’d like to say a big thank you to all of them. Their generosity is hugely appreciated and will definitely help make Easter seem a little more special.”
