A great time was had by all recently when Woodland held a garden party. The sun came out for a while which is a rarity in this country I’m sure you’ll agree! The residents enjoyed sitting in the garden eating cake and drinking tea.
Entertainment was provided by Bugle Silver Band – a fantastic, award winning brass band that were formed in 1868. It made for a memorable afternoon that the staff and residents will be talking about for weeks to come.
There was a cake and jam stall, a bric-a-brac stall, a tombola and a raffle where you had to guess the name of the teddy. Money raised was £326.00 which is a great achievement. All money raised on the day will go towards the Woodland residents’ amenities fund*.
Well done Woodland!
*The amenities fund pays for things like activities, entertainment and gifts for our residents.
