A huge thank you to Food4Heroes

I would like to say a heartfelt thank you for the delicious and much appreciated meals that Food4Heroes Kernow have been delivering to our care home staff during this second pandemic lockdown.

Last week, Rock-based Fee’s Food prepared the home-cooked meals for our care home staff in Camborne and Redruth. They were absolutely amazing and very much enjoyed.

Together with NHS community hospitals, Cornwall Care was lucky enough to benefit from Food4Heroes largesse during the first lockdown this year and, thanks to a major fund-raising campaign for the initiative this summer, it’s wonderful to be included in their food distribution once again.

I’d like to extend particular thanks to Kate Holborow, the High Sheriff of Cornwall, and her team for all that they are doing to support Food4Heroes Kernow. Their generosity and community spirit is really making a difference.
