Keeping spirits up at Trewartha

Our caring staff have been keeping spirits uplifted at Trewartha by taking part in all sorts of activities with our lovely residents recently.

Due to current government guidelines, relatives and friends can no longer visit their loved ones so Trewartha have stepped up a gear with doing lots of activities both inside and outside (good weather permitting).

Some of our residents have been enjoying time out in the sunshine, they have been enjoying some music with various staff members like this lovely lady playing the accordion for them to sing and dance along to.

We also had some indoor exercise classes this week which everyone loved. John wanted to let his wife Caroline know that he loves her after she sent him a lovely letter. George and Eunice wanted to ask everyone to stay safe!

These activities really improved the wellbeing of our residents which is even more important at this difficult time while so many restrictions are in place. And seeing the residents enjoying themselves also has the added benefit of making our staff feel really fulfilled in their work.
