Long service awards at The Green

We would like to thank Sheila Holland and Steph Pengelley for their dedication to Cornwall Care.

Sheila has worked for Cornwall Care for 20 years and is our resident
Dr Dolittle! She has cared for all the animals that have been part of The Green’s family – from cats and dogs to budgies, chickens and a variety of fish. As a valuable member of the housekeeping team she does a bit of everything. She is always willing to help in any way that she can and has been known to work the odd night shift too. Thank you Sheila, you are a star.

Steph has worked for Cornwall Care for 30 years and is our fount of all knowledge about The Green, its history and its staff and residents both past and present. There is no job at The Green that Steph hasn’t undertaken in her career. From starting as a domestic to working as an HCA to working as a valuable member on the night shift as an HCA for 17 years! Thank you Steph, you are also a star.

We are lucky to have such dedicated, lovely people as these two wonderful ladies. We look forward to many more years of working
with you.
