Long service awards at Trewartha

Marilyn and Kath have been presented with long service award certificates and gifts for their dedication to Cornwall Care over the years.

Marilyn Collins has worked for us for 30 years and Kath Renowden (Miss LSA) has worked for us for 47 years!

Kath has been the assistant chef here for a good many years but has also worked at Headlands and St Martins care homes. She is mad about donkeys and has “adopted’’ a whole flock of them from the donkey sanctuary in Devon. She has recently renovated her cottage – hence the garden seat being very well received – we struggled to get it into her car but she managed to erect it on her own!

Marilyn has worked here for many years too, previously on care but now as a domestic. She has recently renovated her house too and the garden centre vouchers were very well received. She has worked in other Cornwall Care homes as a re-hab assistant as well as a carer.

Kath and Marilyn are good friends and often go on holidays together with their dogs in tow. We would like to thank these lovely ladies for their dedication, love and support. You are very special people.
