Alex Endean from Blackwood recently celebrated 30 years of service with us
Alex commenced his working life with Cornwall Care on 2nd June 1989. During Alex’s 30 years of service he has covered every role across the home - HCA 3 Care Assistant, Housekeeping, Care Co-ordinator, Deputy Manager and
finally Cook.
Alex is always happy and bright within his work and nothing is ever too much trouble; he is widely respected by all his colleagues. He remains reliable flexible and committed to Blackwood House. No matter where he is in the various job roles he has undertaken in the homes, he is always a dedicated member of the team and willing to help anyone. He has a caring nature and is always happy and concerned about others.
He has done almost every role in the home throughout his working life and he is always willing to cover a different role to his own when required. He is very supportive, knows the building inside and out as well as the running of the home. He is a very valuable team player. Thank you Alex, you are a star!
Here you can see Alex being presented with a Casio watch for his long service award by Richard Nixon-Eckersall who is our Interim Director of Workforce & Organisational Development. Alex was so happy as you can see from the massive grin on his face!
