Penberthy featured in Newquay Voice
Posted by admin on January 9,2020Penberthy staff and residents were overjoyed to see their home featured in the Newquay Voice recently.
Residents, visitors and staff recently let their hair down at their Christmas fete. They were entertained by Amanda who encouraged the party goers to get up and dance to her festive tunes.
Emma Barcroft, our amazing activities coordinator helped out enormously by organising various things to get day off to a good start.
She asked local shops and other companies to donate prizes for the raffle. So many prizes were donated that we had to make a pathway to get to our desks! It was such a fun day and families joined in the fun too and just a down right laugh for all concerned. And to top it all, we raised £277! This will go towards our fundraising campaign to help buy a ‘magic’ and activity table.
We would like to thank Emma for all her hard work. We would also like to say a big thank you to Newquay businesses for their generous donations.
