Raising funds for Redannick
Posted by admin on January 17,2019The daughter and her partner of one of our relatives here at Redannick will be helping to raise funds for our residents.
On 24 March this lovely lady and her partner will be running the Hastings Half Marathon. They want to help raise funds so that Redannick can buy a Mobii projection system (‘magic’ table, see image opposite). One of our other care homes, The Green in Redruth, has recently taken delivery of one of these amazing systems.
The system is designed to stimulate movement, communication and mental activity. The motion-activated unit can project on to tables, beds and floors, using motion sensors to turn them into interactive surfaces controlled by touching, swiping and splatting. With more than 300 different apps, quizzes and activities, there is plenty to help keep residents engaged and entertained, including music, games and painting.
