Lorna Garratt, Flexi-Carer and also Beaver Scout Leader for 1st St Enoder, arranged for Bill to be brought along with his family so they all could be involved in such a special day.
Bill (William Wilkins) is a veteran and served in the Second World War. Over 85 years ago he was a scout at 1st St Austell Scout Group of because of this he was invited to be invested into our 1st St Enoder Scout Group as an honorary member. Bill was amazing, the service was beautiful and created memories for him and his family they will never forget. It was an honour to be in the company of such an amazing man.
