St Breock residents enjoy Steam Rally

Posted by admin on July 11,2017

Our residents at St Breock regularly enjoy trips out to various Cornish events.

Earlier this year we had a wonderful time attending The Cornish Traction Preservation Club’s Tredinnick Steam & Vintage Rally in the spring, where there was a variety of trade stalls, entertainment and vintage engines to enjoy.

The attractions included steam engines, vintage tractors, classic cars, working sections, stationary engines and motorbikes, as well as activities such as face-painting, clown performances, live music, barbeques, bars and lots more.

We had a lovely time with our residents eating pasties, looking at the steam engines and meeting various animals throughout the day.

It is important to us at Cornwall Care that we take part in local events, especially those that are special to our residents. They can be brilliant opportunities to get some fresh air, have a laugh and reminisce.

At St Breock, we enjoy lots of different events and activities, in and out of our home. We love getting out and about, connecting with the locals and being a part of the Wadebridge community. We attend the Royal Cornwall Show every year, celebrate Obby Oss and attend as many local events as we can.
