Fun in the sun at St Martin's Summer Fete

Residents, relatives, staff and visitors really enjoyed the fete this summer.

We had visitors from the Memory Café that we frequently visit with our residents. The local Mayor opened our event and we give thanks to him for taking time out of his busy schedule to do this. He commented on how impressed he was with the way all staff were helping out and were engaged with residents and their families.

Some of our staff brought their children to the fete to help out. The children interacted really well with our residents and the residents seemed to enjoy having them around. Overall it was a great day and everyone enjoyed themselves and to this day, we are still getting good feedback on how well it turned out.

We’re looking forward to the next fete – bring on Summer 2019!
