Surprise Retirement Party at Redannick

Staff and residents at Redannick, our residential home in Truro, had a wonderful time recently celebrating the retirement of one of our carers, Ela Holc.

Ela, a Level 3 Health Care Assistant, started work for Cornwall Care in 2003, as a Home Care carer in the community, where she worked for seven years.

In 2009, Ela transferred from the community team to the care homes team, joining Mountford, our nursing home in Truro, as a Care Practitioner. In 2011 she moved over to Redannick as a Care Co-ordinator and has worked there ever since, until her retirement a few weeks ago.

To celebrate her retirement and thank Ela for her 14 years of service at Cornwall Care, the team at Redannick held a surprise party and buffet. We also arranged for a £50 shopping voucher, flowers and a certificate for her.
