Team Trevern Win Award!

  Trevern for winning 'Best
  use of Technology in
  Care' at the Care and
  Support Awards 2019.

Trevern showed best use of technology in this category: Best use of Technology in Care – the winner of this award will be an individual or organisation who champions the use of technology to provide better care. This new award category is open to all forms of technology from using VR, robotic companions or smart speakers bringing joy to service users, to using digital systems for care plans and medications to help provide a more efficient and safer service.

Haley Blake, Registered Manager at Trevern says: ‘So proud to have accepted this award on behalf of Cornwall Care and Trevern. It’s important to acknowledge the team behind this award, from the activities co-ordinators using the Echo Dots and iPads with residents, to the care team embracing e-care planning, the recruitment team implementing Care Friends ‘refer a friend to care’ app and the executives working hard to choose the right systems and strategies for implementation.

This award is for all of us and I’m incredibly proud to have accepted it on behalf of all of our services driving technology in care forward in Cornwall. Thank you CAHSC Learning Partnership for a wonderful event.’
