Make and Bake Sale at Trewartha

We had a lovely afternoon on 19th December with our make and bake sale and Christmas raffle to get into the Christmas swing.

So many relatives, friends and staff donated great prizes for our raffle, including chocolates, bottles of bubbly and even a great big cheese hamper! Our wonderful kitchen staff made Christmas cakes, Yule logs and some of the relatives and staff donated ginger cake, chocolate cake and banana bread to sell at the bake sale.

Here’s Gwen Bennison, one of our lovely residents helping to pick numbers out of the raffle pot along with Lucy, our Activities Coordinator and Tegan, our nurse also helped picked out one of the winning numbers.

The raffle and bake sale raised a brilliant £447.20 for our residents’ amenities fund. Thank you to everyone who took part and donated raffle prizes and goodies for the make and bake sale.
