Trewartha come out top again!

“For the 5th consecutive year running Trewartha has been recognised as a Top 20 Care Home in South West England. To celebrate this achievement we held an afternoon tea party for our Friends of Trewartha at our External Quality Group Meeting.

This was a chance for relatives to have their say about what’s happening in the home. The families have been very supportive to Trewartha over the years, some of whom have been connected with us for over 5 years. We enjoyed freshly cut sandwiches and a homemade Victoria sponge, with tea and coffee flowing alongside a few bottles of bubbly.

We held the meeting in our newly painted blue dining room, which we had further decorated with balloons and put our 5 awards out on display. We are also planning a further celebration with our staff in the near future to thank them all for their hard work in achieving this award.

Winning this award was made all the more special by the knowledge that we were the only home in Cornwall to have received this accolade in 2019! Thank you so much to everyone for their continued hard work and support.”
