Mark Halford and friends fly high for Trengrouse

At 9am on 7th September at the Cornish Parachute Club, Perranporth, Mark and some of his family and colleagues will be skydiving to raise money for the residents of Trengrouse.

The participants will be: Mark Halford, Niamh Halford,  Ricky Dent, Imogen Black, Bethany Cowls,  Scott Kimpton, Daniela Vasile, Maria Timofte, Bradley Southerd, Chelsea Parry, Mabel Dempsey.

All money raised will go towards Trengrouse's Amenities Fund which pays for things like activities, entertainment and gifts for residents.

As a Cornish charity, we aim to support other charities wherever possible. There are 850,000 people with dementia in the UK, with numbers set to rise to over 1 million by 2025. This will soar to 2 million by 2051. 225,000 will develop dementia this year, that's one every three minutes.

1 in 6 people over the age of 80 have dementia

We can all do our bit to help the older generation!

If you would like to support them please visit their JustGiving page:

We wish Mark and the other skydivers the very best of luck when they take up the challenge on the 7th September 2017.
