Royal Wedding celebrations at Cornwall Care
Join us at some of our homes this week to help celebrate The Royal Wedding:
St Breock
On Wednesday 16 May St Breock will be holding a royal event from 1.30 – 4p.m. The event is being held to raise funds for our garden regeneration project.
The event is designed to be like an actual wedding reception for our residents and visitors with a five tier wedding cake, an exquisite buffet and wedding favours. The wedding event will be a reminiscence wedding fayre linked to the Royal Wedding which will be held on 19 May. We will have various ladies, gents and childrens’ outfits to look at and reminisce about. We will also have photos and magazines on display to enjoy.
The dining room will be dressed to look like a wedding reception and staff will be encouraged to dress up in their finest attire. A raffle has been arranged with fantastic prizes to be won including a signed copy of Rick Stein’s latest book, a voucher for Paul Ainsworth’s restaurant, plus cinema tickets. All prizes are donations collected by Pauline and Jessie, our Activities Co-ordinators. On the day we will also be entertained by Tim Parr. Please come along and join in the fun. Trevarna
On 19 May we will come together to celebrate The Royal Wedding by serving High Tea. We will enjoy cups of tea, coffee, juices, cakes and pasties while watching The Royal Wedding on TV. To find out more, ring: 01726 75066.
Pengover
On 19 May we will be showing TV coverage of the wedding in our home from 10am and the wedding from noon followed by the carriage parade at 12.30. We will be serving a buffet lunch at 1.30pm. To find out more, ring: 01579 343397.
Mountford
On 19 May we will be having a dress-up day where staff are going to wear red, white and blue or formal wear. There will be tea and cakes provided. To find out more, ring: 01872 274097.
Penberthy
On 19 May, we will be having a Royal wedding party. We will all dress in our best attire, watch the wedding on TV and have an afternoon buffet of tea and cakes. We will also be showing a timeline on the wall of all the royal weddings. To find out more, ring: 01637 873845.

On 19 May, we will be celebrating the Royal wedding by holding a picnic lunch with sparkling wine and cake. To find out more, ring: 01736 795769.
Trewartha
On 19 May from 2pm-5pm, we will be celebrating the Royal Wedding by dressing in our best wedding attire and having a tea party in the garden (weather permitting) or lounge. Prosecco, Pimms, tea and cake will be provided. To find out more, ring: 01736 797183.
Trengrouse
On 19 May, we will be celebrating the Royal Wedding by being entertained by singer Berni Murphy in the morning followed by watching the ceremony on TV at midday. St Martin's
