Tai Chi at Trevern

Trevern will be holding an interactive tai chi session for staff, residents and their families to enjoy. Alan Hughes is the tai chi master who will be showing off all his moves. Alan's career begin in The Royal Marine Commandos and he also served for over 25 years as a police officer with the Devon and Cornwall Police.

Alan became interested in Martial Arts over 35 years ago and is an accomplished instructor in Taekwondo. He became interested in his development of Internal Energy by practising Chi Kung many years ago and became interested in learning Tai Chi. He became a student of Master Bob Denny in Newquay and later became an Advanced Tai Chi/Chi Kung Instructor.
