St Breock residents enjoyed a festive meal with The Lions

Posted by cornwallcare on December 5, 2018

The Lions Club Annual Senior Citizens’ Christmas Meal was held on Saturday 1 December at Wadebridge School this year.

St Breock residents Tom Rickard, Julia Bradley, Bill Powell and Lorna Derrick attended and were escorted by staff Janice Carhart, Pauline Shilson and Ann O’Neil.  It was a lovely evening, everybody enjoyed themselves and the entertainment provided by Johnny Cowling, The Shipwreck Choir and The Gulls Ladies Choir from Port Isaac was fantastic.

A very tasty roast turkey dinner was served by the members of The Lions and everyone loved the food. And to top it all, Bill Powell won £40 on the raffle, well done Bill!

The Shipwreck Choir have very kindly offered to entertain us again at St Breock on 19 December for our residents’ Christmas party. We can’t wait to hear you sing again.
