Animal therapy visit at Trevarna

Posted by cornwallcare on September 16, 2019

Last week our lucky residents (and staff) were introduced to some gorgeous animals.

We had a visit from Talons Owltimate Encounters which is a zoo licensed, animal encounter, non profit community interest company based in Cornwall. They offer therapeutic encounters to organisations and homes that are involved with the rehabilitation of vulnerable adults and young people.

They brought along a snake, an owl, a rabbit, a guinea pig and various other lovelies to introduce to us here at Trevarna. The animals were stroked and adored by everyone who came into contact with them. We had such a wonderful time that we can’t wait to see them again soon. Thank you to the people who organised this great visit.
