Valentine’s Day celebrations at Woodland House

Posted by cornwallcare on February 18, 2019

On 14 February, we celebrated Valentine’s Day at Woodland House by having a ‘celebrating friendships’ day.

Friends can increase your sense of belonging and purpose, boost your happiness and reduce your stress. Whether it’s always having someone to talk to or just knowing that your friend will have your back, true friends are worth celebrating.

To help us celebrate in style, Tim Parr popped in to sing and play his guitar. We enjoyed making and eating chocolate crispy cakes. In fact some of us ate the treats as soon as they were made – we just couldn’t wait. They were delicious!

We also made coloured heart frames which we used to attach friendship photos to. All in all it was a day full of love and joy.
