Dementia Care

All our staff here at Cornwall Care, whatever their role, are trained in dementia care and ethics. Whether we are looking after an individual in their own home, one of our care homes in Cornwall or in a communal daycare facility, our carers have the knowledge, patience and passion to provide effective and loving support.

Cornwall Care Dementia Care Inside Image.jpgWe are careful to devote time to ensuring that each person in our care is supported to eat, drink and take part in activities which are carefully chosen to help with memory, communication and sense of identity. Our care homes and communal facilities are designed to be dementia-friendly and we’re always there for family members needing advice and understanding.

We recognise the importance of continuing professional development for everyone working with dementia and, here at Cornwall Care, we are proud of the expertise, commitment and success of our in-house training team whose job it is to keep all staff up-to-date with best practice.

When it comes to dementia care, trust is vital. Trust us, we won’t let you down.
